Sunday, May 17th dawned sunny and warm - a perfect day to visit our puppy! Today we asked Elizabeth and Kathryn to join us for a "Magical Mystery Tour". They didn't know anything about the newest member of the family, but trusted us enough to come along. We arrived at Jenny and Bryan's place, and Kathryn immediately saw the horses, the barn, etc, and joked: "You bought me a horse!" Soon after that, Boomer and Molly bounded across the grass, so the girls said in unison: "Did you buy a puppy?"
We all laughed and giggled our way to the barn, where we sorted out the pups to find "ours". She had grown just in the week sin

ce we first met her. We took her and Jack Black (the remaining unsold male) out onto the lawn and played with them. They were steadier on their feet than last week, but still really funny when they tried to run.
After we all had plenty of cuddle time, we agreed that her name should be Piper. It has a nice ring to it, and reminds me of brother Hank's love for the Scottish bagpipes.
