Our Pick of the Litter

This is the way our cutie looked when we first met her. Parents Boomer and Molly stood protectively by as the pups were taken from their "home" in the barn out to the grassy lawn, but were very friendly to us. The puppies toddled (and toppled) around on the grass while we looked on in amazement at the seemingly random motion.

We picked up one after the other, trying to decide which one would be "ours". The one who seemed just right was a girl with a purple polka dot collar. She was so soft and cuddly, but also wiggly and energetic. We could imagine her growing up to be a combination of her Dad's robust, laid-back personality and Mom's streamlined agility. It was hard to leave that day, but there were other families arriving to pick out their own pets, so we went home feeling very happy.
